Album View: Green Knuckle Material's "Renaissance"

 

Incorporating alternative rock, pop, funk and rap might not be a ground breaking thing in today's music era, but combining those genres are often the recipe for fun and exciting stuff. Something that most likely swerving on the minds of Bergen County based rockers, Green Knuckle Material, with the release of their new album “Renaissance”, which was officially outed on December 9, 2017. Consisting mainly of five members, Scatterbrain PG (rap vocals), Young Dan (acoustic guitars/ lead vocals), D-String (bass guitars/vocals); Mudd Dog (electric/lead guitars) and The Hawaiian (drums), they collaborated their musical ideas which resulted in five tracks for their latest EP.

Rock music never stops attracting and inspiring new musicians to continue on the genre's legacy such as LA based garage rockers, NYDTyson. Having just formed in 2016, this duo consisting of Nick Campbell along with Eric Radloff, didn't waste much time to put their creative minds and unleash their debut EP entitled “If You're So Smart, Why Are You So Sad?” on December 8, 2017. Originally came from the same band called Bear Attack, both Eric and Nick seemingly shared the same passion in transmitting their musical talent in such garage/indie rock with strong punk vibe mixed into one unity. In an early attempt to introduce their music, the rock duo came up with five exciting tracks, in which they hope can charm many music fans from all over the globe.

Highly acclaimed guitar maestro, Curtis Fornadley continue to produce exciting masterful stuff such as his recently released album entitled “Resonance”, which was officially outed on October 10th' 2017. Still not keen on limiting his musicality, the axeman opting to combine various genre in the new album, inserting elements such as rock, country, blues, a bit of jazz and even surf. Those wide range of genres simply being blend in such fine manner creating a richly sound record that might be able to reach more global listener as it covers many different music areas. Consisting in total of 13 tracks, Curtis is very keen on providing nothing but entertainment for music lovers, especially rock fans and guitar heads.

Christmas is just around the corner and what best way to get pump up for the celebration other than by enjoying holiday songs, which is probably the thing that inspired cross over violinist/musician Lindsey Stirling for unleashing her latest album “Warmer in the Winter”. Making her first holiday album, Lindsey seems eager to provide an entertaining yet quality stuff, combining classic Christmas compositions along with some original tracks from violin maestro. Not only putting on her cross-genre touches in every songs, but Lindsey also able to integrate her own musical approach into the classic Christmas favorite songs, creating such lovely and fun combination.
