Exciting news arrived for guitar heads and all blues rock music enthusiast as Richie Kotzen is set to release his new solo album in 2017. The Winery Dogs' vocalist/guitarist confirmed that news via his official social media page, adding another information which seems to be the upcoming record's title, “Salting Earth”. Unfortunately, Kotzen still hasn't confirmed any official date as just yet, giving that sense of curiosity among music fans who are keen on checking out the maestro's latest stuff. The positive thing, 2017 is just around the corner, so it might not take that long for music lovers to finally check out RK's new CD.

Extreme to Release New Live DVD

Boston based rockers, Extreme looking to give their die hard fans more excitement as after recently crafting a successful Pornograffitti anniversary tour, Nuno Bettencourt, Gary Cherone, Pat Badger and Kevin Figueiredo are about to release their special live DVD of that celebration road trip. The outing which will be titled, “Pornograffitti Live 25” is scheduled for release on September 23 via Loud and Proud records. Judging by the promo cover, it seems that they picked their show in Las Vegas as the one being recorded for that special DVD release.

Richie Kotzen Set New Album Release Date, Prepare New Signature Amp

Following previous news about his upcoming new album, guitar virtuoso, Richie Kotzen has finally added more details about the 2017 release, sharing its official released date publicly via his social media page. Just like his previous announcement for “Salting Earth”, Kotzen took to instagram in sharing the release date for that upcoming record which is April 14th. It's still couple of months away, but music fans should feel some sort of excitement, notably since the maestro did showcase a very short music sample via his social media account.

Megadeth Canceled a Show Following Bassist Injury

 

A rather displeasing situation occurred for Megadeth fans in Hungary last Friday, July 15 as the band were forced to cancel their show at Rockmaraton festival. The main reason for that one day cancelation was because an injury to the metal act's bass player, David Ellefson who fractured his foot after falling off the backstage area before the show started. That news was immediately released by Megadeth's leading man, Dave Mustaine via Persicope, explaining the whole situation.
