New Jersey rockers, Bon Jovi excite their die-hard fans at the start of 2024 by releasing the music video for their latest single entitled ‘Legendary’. The new track will be part of their upcoming album, “Forever” which is scheduled to hit the market on June 7.
Bon Jovi Released Music Video for New Single ‘Legendary’
The Rock royalty set music fans, especially their die-hard fans on a frenzy in recent weeks following their latest single ‘Legendary’ released on March 14. The new song is unveiled in support of their upcoming album “Forever” which will be out this summer.
‘Legendary’ is an anthem pop-rock track that embodies Bon Jovi’s spirit as it has that comforting feel, catchy riffs and melodies, and inspirational uplifting lyrics. Although they might not sound as heavy as in the 90s or at least early 2000, the New Jersey rockers are still capable of producing those melodic and anthemic songs.
The music video for ‘Legendary’ was made in a pretty artistic fashion with strong visuals although it looks like it was shot in one or two sets only. Bon Jovi members were seen performing the song in a set that looked like a lovely park with a massive moon as the background view. There are also other young actors seemingly showcasing relationships between a couple and their friends.
The New Jersey Rockers New Album “Forever” Set for June Release
Just as was mentioned above, Bon Jovi’s latest single ‘Legendary’ is just the main course for an upcoming feast of an album entitled “Forever”. The new record will be available for purchase or download on June 7, which should be an exciting listen for the summer.
“Forever” will also be Bon Jovi’s 16th studio album following their self-titled debut in 1984 with the song ‘Runaway’ widely known as their breakthrough hit at the time. Although the music landscape might not be as favorable for the veteran rockers, their massive fan base will surely be joyful to check out the band’s new record which will have 12 tracks.
Aside from their new single and an upcoming album, Bon Jovi will also unleash an exclusive 4-part documentary called ‘Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovic Story’ on April 16. The special stuff is scheduled to be aired on Hulu. Meanwhile, international fans can also check it on Disney + but Latin American fans will be able to tune in via Star +.
No Tour Confirmed in 2024 for Bon Jovi Amiid Upcoming New Album
Unfortunately, despite the new single’s release and the upcoming record’s announcement, it’s not all rosy for Bon Jovi’s fans. The band via their frontman, Jon Bon Jovi admitted that the new album might not lead to any tour just yet for this year.
In the latest interview Jon had with Mix 104.1 Boston radio station(via Far Out Magazine), the singer revealed that despite being close to unleashing their 16th studio album, a tour isn’t on the cards for now. The main reason for this is mainly because of the vocalist’s recent health condition. He revealed that he is recovering from a major operation and although everything is going well, the singer is unsure if he’s ready for any tour this year.
“I don’t know about a tour. It is my desire to do a tour next year, but I’m just still recovering from a major surgery,” Jon Bon Jovi explained.
Although he isn’t sure whether the band will be on tour anytime soon, Jon ensured fans that hitting the road for shows is still something he hopes to do. The rocker stated that amid his recovery process, he is working hard to get himself back into shape so that he can get back on the road again.
“Although I’m well on the road to recovery and was able to take my time and do a song a day when I made the record, my need, want, desire is to be able to do two-and-a-half hours a night four nights a week for months on end,” the singer added.
Although it’s pretty disappointing for die-hard Bon Jovic fans who are longing to see their favorite rockers hitting the stage again. However, for now, at least the devotees can enjoy the band’s upcoming record along with their special documentary that will certainly be entertaining.
