Guitar virtuoso and vocalist, Richie Kotzen continues his upcoming new album “Nomad” promotion by releasing his latest single from that record, entitled ‘Insomnia’. Previously, Kotzen has already unleashed two other songs in support of “Nomad”: ‘ Cheap Shots’ and ‘On the Table’.
Richie Kotzen Releases ‘Insomnia’ as the Third Single from “Nomad”
Kotzen’s new single ‘Insomnia’ was officially unveiled to the public on September 5 and has captivated music fans with its YouTube views already reaching more than 120,000 numbers. The guitarist’s third single this year offers an intense vibe with a mysterious atmosphere which is combined smoothly with fine melodies and captivating vocals.
‘Insomnia’ started immediately with a rockin’ guitar riff that was mixed with RK’s magical vocal which immediately hooked us. Kotzen also blended the guitar melodies with captivating lyrics that bring out such mysterious and haunting but rich harmony. The guitarist/vocalist also blasted excellent guitar solos that complemented the song well.
Kotzen’s ‘Insomnia’ Has that ‘Prince’ Vibe
The new track at times seems to showcase the essence of Prince with a slightly more rocking sound that makes you feel such warm emotion. In support of ‘Insomnia’, Kotzen also recorded a pretty solid music video that even though focuses solely on him, still has that nice tone, colour and overall cinematography that suits the song’s vibe.
In all, ‘Insomnia’ is one of RK’s most exciting tracks and worth checking out not just for his fans but all music enthusiasts all over the globe. Moreover, guitar heads will also be quite pleased with how Kotzen continues to provide stellar playing without losing out ways in emphasizing his song’s meaning and colour.
Kotzen Set to Release New Album “Nomad” and Hit the Road for Tour
So far, three singles that the maestro has released ahead of his upcoming record, “Nomad” offers an exciting premise of what music lovers can experience on the album. The guitarist has been quite active in his new album’s promotion by providing several insights while teasing fans with some interesting stories/trivia as well.
Aside from preparing for the release of “Nomad” On September 27, RK is also hitting the road for a new tour this year. For his current dates, the Winery Dogs’ frontman is doing shows in the US which already started on September 13 in San Juan Capistrano, CA. At the moment, he is set to go on the road until November 2 in Dallas but there could still more additional dates to come.
