That meeting seemingly triggered more collaboration between them which resulted in the re-released of Isyana’s ‘My Mystery’ track which was first unleashed as an EP back in 2022. The multi-instrumentalist duet with Friedman created an exciting version of the song which notably also highlights the guitar maestro’s exquisite and iconic playing.

The remixed version of ‘My Mystery’ featuring the former Cacophony member was unveiled to the public on November 13 and received a positive response on multiple music platforms. Friedman’s addition to that progressive rock track certainly adds that exciting element, notably because his guitar playing and tone are very iconic.

Just a few days after releasing the remix version of ‘My Mystery’, the duo made another surprise as they also performed the song live at Isyana’s ‘Lost in Harmony’ concert on November 16. The duo played their collaboration track towards the end part of the show, creating massive excitement from the crowd.

The concert itself is a special one as it’s a celebration of Isyana’s decade of work and there are already many local Indonesian guest stars performing with her. However, Marty’s presence was special not just because of his stature and guitar playing but because he was a surprise performer on the show.

Friedman and Isyana’s duet was certainly satisfying as both were putting on such a solid live performance. Their musical prowess also creates that thrilling feel when watching them just rocking out to the tune. Hopefully, this won’t be their last collaboration but instead a start to a more exciting project together in the future.

At the moment the guitar virtuoso is gearing up for an upcoming next year in support of his latest release “Drama”, which was outed on May 17 this year. The guitar virtuoso is scheduled to hit the road for a US tour starting on January 24, but he will also have a couple of shows in Japan before flying to the States.
