Embarking on the death metal scene since starting back in 2016, RawMoor has significantly grown from an underground movement to an International breakthrough. Collaborating with Wormholedeath Records, the Finland-based metal act will be re-releasing their debut album, “En Route”, which is set to hit the market on May 2, 2025.
RawMoor to Unleash “En Route” for Metal Lovers
Death Metal might not be the most popular genre, even in the Metal world, but it continues to produce exciting artists, such as RawMoor. The Finland-based metal act first started as a solo project from the frontman, Moordrawn, in 2016 before he eventually collaborated with Brim on vocals to develop their debut album “EnRoute”.
They worked hard to write six exciting metal songs, ‘Id’. ‘Frostgale’, ‘En Route’, ‘Forth’, ‘Global Necrosis’, and ‘Pine Branches’. Keen on making those songs more captivating, they also added a guest guitarist, Renton, to fill up solos in some tracks (2, 3, and 6).
Their combination naturally produced an excellent blend of metal music with exquisite melodic and symphonic touches. Embarking on the theme of treachery and betrayal, while adding a political stance, didn’t make RawMoor’s music lose its aesthetic aspect, notably with that symphonic element which can be heard from their first track ‘Id’.up til their final song on the record, ‘Pine Branches’.

“En Route” was Initially Released in 2024
RawMoor initially unleashed their debut record independently in September 2024, but after they collaborated with Wormholedeath Records, the band decided to re-release the album on May 2 this year. It’s certainly an exciting opportunity to get “En Route” a much bigger audience and introduce the band’s music to a much wider audience.
Metal fans should certainly check the new album out, especially those who are keen on experiencing symphonic death metal songs. The band immediately showcase their musical idea from the get-go and keeps things going strong, although ‘Pine Branches’ did start with a lovely acoustic riff that gets you in such a joyful mood.
Overall, RawMoor’s debut album “En Route” is certainly an interesting death metal musical journey which brings out plenty of aesthetic musical aspects into play. Although it’s not a genre that suits everybody, especially the vocals, musically, the Finland-based band can certainly offer exciting eargasm composition for plenty of metal heads out there.
