Guitar maestro, Paul Gilbert, will be holding some more guitar clinics with Ibanez this year, but he won’t be alone. As confirmed by the renowned music instrument company, PG is set to be accompanied by his longtime student, Li-sa-X.

Paul Gilbert and Li-sa-X Collab for Ibanez Clinics
Gilbert has been widely known for his guitar prowess, especially in the late 90s and early 2000s, with his playing with Mr. Big and previously Racer X. Moreover, he is also quite popular as a guitar instructor as his playing style, technique, and lessons have inspired many guitar players to this date.
Amid his farewell tour with Mr. Big, PG apparently still has the time to entertain guitar heads by holding guitar clinics. However, his upcoming sessions will be special as Ibanez has also tagged along Gilbert’s student, Li-sa-X, as part of the clinics.
The young female Japanese guitarist was a hit online after she was seen covering Racer X’s song on YouTube. Her performance caught the eye of many, including Paul, who offered her to join his online guitar course as a scholarship student.
Li-sa has grown to be an excellent guitar player and is currently making tons of exciting music as well. It’s certainly exciting to see her performing on the stage alongside Gilbert, who has become an excellent mentor throughout the years.

According to Ibanez, the clinics will be held on May 27 in France(Music City Nuostore) and on May 29 in the UK (Andertons Music). Unfortunately, despite the interesting clinicians, for now, there are only two dates available for Paul and Li-sa for guitar enthusiasts to enjoy.
Hopefully, there will be more dates and other venues where guitar heads can check out the master-student guitar masterclass soon. However, for now, those who can go to France and the UK during those dates would be the lucky ones.
