Guitar maestro and singer extraordinaire, Richie Kotzen continued promoting his new album “Nomad” by releasing his latest single and album’s title on October 10. The new single is his sixth release from his new record after previously unleashing five others such as, ‘Cheap Shots’, ‘On the Table’, ‘Insomnia’, ‘Nihilist’, and ‘This Is a Test’.

Just like his five previous singles, RK also premiered an accompanying music video for ‘Nomad’ directed by Vicente Cordero. The new track’s MV is being crafted in a pretty simple fashion, quite similar to his other clips for previous singles, it mainly involved the guitarist/vocalist playing on his own without being accompanied by band members or other models.

Aside from shredding the guitar like he masterfully does every time, RK also showcases his bass-playing skills in the new video. He looks to be enjoying himself while rocking out to ‘Nomad’ with the bright sunshine accompanying him the whole time.

The new single once again brings out Richie’s excellent musical quality as he showcases an intriguing rock piece with a bit of progressive element, fusion, and alternative as well. ‘Nomad’ might not be a piece that can immediately be enjoyed, but it grows the further you get into the song.

Kotzen Still Busy With Tour in 2024

Aside from promoting his new album “Nomad”, the guitarist is also busy completing his current road trip, which started on September 13 and is currently scheduled to end on November 2. The guitarist is still focusing on his solo career this year as his bandmate at the Winery Dogs, notably, Mike Portnoy is also busy with his music project with Dream Theater.

The former Poison and Mr. Big guitarist is still actively promoting his new record amid his busy road trip schedule. Kotzen might also follow up on his new single’s release with more tracks as there are only two left from “Nomad’ that haven’t had an official video, they are ‘These Doors’ and ‘Escape’. The guitar virtuoso unleashed his new album on September 27th which in total consists of eight tracks, including the title track which music video he recently premiered.
