Gearing up for the release of his new album “Salting Earth” on April 14th 2017, guitar virtuoso, Richie Kotzen has just premiered a new music video for his song titled ‘End Of Earth’. The new track and its clip was unleashed on March 22 via Richie’s official Youtube channel and it is a pretty good introduction for what fans might be getting in the upcoming record. On that MV, the guitarist/singer is also being accompanied by his partner, Julia Lage, creating a minimalist concept but still looking really deep with some interesting scenes.
The MV started out with an intriguing fireplace with candles around, somewhat creating a chilling black magic like atmosphere which was depicted indeed with voodoo practice done by Julia. Richie was obviously featured on the clip, mostly through close up shots in which he basically singing out the track and rocking out his guitar. In all, it was a pretty fitting clip to represent ‘End Of Earth’ which seemingly has that deep, slightly dark kind of feel. Albeit not having too many bright color, that new video can provide a strong representation of the virtuoso’s music and certainly attracting attention from music lovers who are hungry for some exciting new stuff from RK.
As for the track itself, ‘End Of Eearth’ has that classic Richie’s rock-blues thingy with strong guitar performance that should give some entertainment for guitar heads out there. This song has a pretty comforting hook part with nice rockin’ riffs overall and notably quality vocals from The Winery Dogs’ vocalist/guitarist. In all, this new song is a pretty neat choice by the maestro to give that little bit light of what he will be offering on his upcoming record “Salting Earth”. April is just around the corner anyway, so it won’t be long before rock lovers can get their hands on that album and hopefully more music will be released by RK sometime soon.
