“The Complete Dr. Dirty Sessions 1992-1993” by Rhett Forrester & Rob Robbins Released

BraveWords Records revealed that they are releasing a special album called “The Complete Dr. Dirty Sessions 1992-1993” on August 23, to remember the late rock vocalist, Rhett Forrester. The new record is dubbed a collaboration between Forrester and Rob Robbins, which depicts their time together while playing in a band called Dr. Dirty Sessions.

Forrester who was widely known during his time with New York-based rock band, Riot from 1981 to 1984 had a little-known chapter with Dr. Dirty during his time in Canada. At the band, he was joining forces with Robbins who wrote the songs for the band along with Scot Gaines.

Although the time that Forrester spent with Dr. Dirty wasn’t long as it was only from 1992-1993, since that time frame was not widely known by many, Robbins believed it was best to unleash the material to the public. “The Complete Dr. Dirty Sessions 1992-1993” record is being produced by the guitarist/songwriter who also plays guitar, keyboards and vocals on it. Other musicians involved in the record include Rod Albon on bass, Brent Gattoni on drums, and Matt Whale contributing keys on the track “Hold On”.

Naturally, the songs on the album are made to showcase Forrester’s excellent vocals plus Robbins’ musicality which wasn’t noticed too much during that period. Music fans will be able to once again enjoy the ex-Riot vocalist’s quality on how he can still produce such magic just before his passing on January 22, 2004.
