Smith/Kotzen Unleashing ‘White Noise’ as New Single
After debuting their collaboration duo with a self-titled album in 2021, Kotzen and Smith returned with new exciting music to excite music fans, especially their devotees. Smith/Kotzen are planning to unleash another full album but before that, they are teasing everyone by releasing their first single entitled ‘White Noise’ last November.
The new single still brings out that hard rock/blues combo element that blends both guitarists’ and musicians’ characteristics and playing styles into one. Smith and Kotzen continue to offer that exciting blend of hard rock sound with a blues-rock combo, not just on the guitar but also on vocals.
‘White Noise’ started with an exciting heavy riff that transformed into a melodic and catchy tune that enthralled its listeners from start to finish. It’s a track that certainly showcases the strong characteristics of both guitarists/singers, notably for their specific fans who have enjoyed the duo’s past works.

After a pretty successful debut album, the duo is seemingly determined to continue their project and most likely ready for a new tour in support of “Black Light/White Noise”. Seeing that The Winery Dogs might still be on a break as Mike Portnoy is busy with Dream Theater, continuing the Smith/Kotzen duo seems to happen at the right moment for RK.
